David Parfitt is a visual artist who specialises in site-specific sculpture and public art projects.
Based in Sussex, David's activities include the design, production and project management of a range of forms unlimited by materials.
Emphasising the social and collaborative aspects of contemporary visual arts practise, he acts as consultant, lead artist or initiator on a wide variety of projects with clients such as; multi-national corporations, local authorities, community groups and individuals.

Four metre high stone and copper sculpture marking the entrance to the Julie Rose Memorial Stadium in Ashford Kent.
Project included mentoring of Open College of the Arts student Bill Hackney. Commissioned by Ashford borough council. May 1997.
